DAY TWO: Killiney - Enniscorthy

Leaving Fitzpatrick's Castle and going north on Killiney Hill Road.

Random dog turning onto Killiney Road.

Wyattville Road, Druid Valley, Wicklow - far less druidy than I expected.

Now on the M50 heading southeast. Today was always going to be about getting miles under my belt on the way to Kerry.

My first peek at the famed Wicklow Mountains.

The Great Sugar Loaf Mountain.

Continuing on through Kilmurray North, Wicklow, on the N11 - breathtaking country.

I don't know what the guy near the centre of the hoot is look at down there.  Kilmurray, Wicklow, still on the N11.

Glen of the Downs Nature Reserve, Wicklow.

More miles under the belt.

Beautiful countryside, Kilmullen, Wicklow

A lot of place names with 'Rath' in them.

New housing estates near Rathdrum, Wicklow.

Ballyhenry, Wicklow.

100kph along here?  N11, Balinclare, Wicklow.
Decided to take a look at the countryside and got very, very lost, ending up on The Fairy Lane, Wexford of all places.

Achtung baby, drive on the left!

Promises, promises, N11 at Frankfort, Wicklow.

Coming up to Ferns having just past St. Aidan, Wicklow.

Main Street, Ferns, Wicklow.

First look at Ferns Castle.

Ferns Castle, Ferns.  It blows my mind that ruins are surrounded by a modern town.

Time to find somewhere to stay.  Heading out of Ferns on the N11 looking for Clone House Guesthouse.

Searched for Clone House for about an hour before I gave up and went on to Enniscorthy and the lovely Riverside Park Hotel, Wexford.
