DAY 17: Valentia Island to Reenard.

Sadly, my holidays have come to an end, but the beauty with Google street view is that you can return at any time.  I’m continuing on, unhurried through the Irish countryside...

Obligatory dog, leaving the B&B on Valentia Island, Kerry.

Looking toward Reenard Point from the Knightstown jetty.

No better place in the world to put a white park bench.  The Promenade, Valentia.

More modern ruins on the R565, Tinnies Lower East, Valentia Island.

View of the mainland from the R565, Lower Tinnies West.

Even more modern ruins and abandoned houses at Coarha More, Valentia Island.

Leaving the island.  Such an amazing place and I almost looked it over!

Fermoyle Standing Stone Alignment (centre of picture) was originally three stones but one has since been removed.

Heading north along the R565, Lateeve, Kerry.

Kerry's House of Health, situated on the R565 at the base of Knocknaskereeighta, Knockeenawaddra, Kerry.

More animals on gateposts, Aghanboy, Kerry.
